Classes for 2013 
 Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Stitchers

All classes require advance registration!

           For those starting out, Barbara Boulton teaches her Basics classes every Tuesday and Saturday,
year 'round. Learn to stitch from an experienced, patient instructor! You must sign up in advance.

Barbara also teaches two other classes periodically:

Shooting for the Stars, an 18 count painted canvas in a fun geometric design. She will go over seven different stitches and introduce three different fibers, giving students a chance to improve their skills and learn how to approach a canvas will some new possibilities. Class size is limited and must be reserved ahead; call us to find out when it will be taught next.

 Initial is a 12 count 5" square canvas students will stitch in the initial and three colors of their choice. Barbara will teach seven different stitches, and the finished product can become a decorative pillow, an applique on a tote and a way you can show off your new skills! Classes will be taught on March 7 and April 18. You choose the initial when you sign up.

When you are ready to add some special touches to your projects, Anne Freiburger will be teaching you how to bead and embellish your canvases - great tips from an award-winning stitcher that help you take your skills to the next level! She has two classes in March: Gingerbread Man Christmas Tree (March 19) and Ribbon Candy (choice of tree or heart motif - March 26.)  Call ahead for class times, prices and reservations.

 Susan Portra, master needle artist and instructor,

will be here in February and October!

She will be teaching her two-day Bring Your Canvas to Life classes as well as offering private sessions, all centerd around a canvas you have purchased from our extensive selection (including trunk shows.) You will work with Susan to create a unique piece of needle art.

Susan will also be teaching one-day classes based on a piece she has chosen and for which she has created the stitch guide and materials list. Under Susan's watchful guidance, you will discover techniques, fibers and approaches you may never have encountered before. Call us for class details, schedule and pricing. Places are limited and materials must be ordered in advance, so don't delay!
